Michael Jackson In Peace!!!

The sudden demise of Michael Jackson - The King of Pop - has left the world mourning for him gravely. I think he has managed to touch everybody's soul, from the poor to the rich, the young and the old, rockers to sentimentals, with his music and his spectacular performances and videos. I remember when I, as a kid, would save up every penny to buy his music tapes (cassettes then) or his posters or post cards. Those were the little joys and excitement!!! He played a good part in my growing up - it was always magical to watch his beautiful videos and watch him dance. He will be greatly missed!!!RIP!!!

Paint N Glass

Painted windows should do just right for me. It was fun. Looking out for more inanimate objects to bear the brunt of my handiwork. (The silly window that divides my room and the rest of the world).

Pre Vacation

Another headband that I made with ribbons and some beads this time. I am back to my lazy phase again. But the news is I am about to embark on a trip to a nearby hill station in 2 days time. Well, I promise to do plentiful of photography, be a typical interested tourist and also have fun.

Rain Makes Me Moody Good

Last night was raining beautiful and crazy for about an hour. And since it was 'save the Earth' day too, I also volunteered to switch out the lights for an hour and felt connected as ONE with the World. This is taken through my window which looks very dramatic owing to the streetlamps and the romantic dance of the swaying trees to the powerful rain.

Anyway, this morning's paper had an interesting article on this unknown US based graphic animator called Nina Paley who has come up with an inspiring animation called 'Sita Sings the Blues'. I just had to google her instantly.

Dynamic Trip

I must have gone crazy today...tripping on these dynamic evolving fluid...well actually I finally got down to do some tee shirt painting and I was cleaning the brushes in a bowl of water...and behold I get this lovely effect...the next thing I know I am clicking away and was mesmerised by the slow motion and the forms it created...might eventually design something around it hopefully...

From The Past

I managed to dig out some old fashion illustrations I did in my NIFT days for a magazine...sadly its been ages since I last did anything like this again...guess this should be an encouragement to get back to my pencil and paper again.

Light Through The Lens

I always love to capture anything interesting; or rather create something interesting out of anything. Well, these shots have been taken with a phone camera in less lighting. I think I like the mysterious, nostalgic and romantic mood.

I still havent figured out what exactly to put up here....maybe once I get into the flow I might do something more constructive. Till then some random pencil work should just do.
